WHO I AM
I’m Davide, born in ’79, husband to Loredana and father to Federico, and my passion for theme parks started a long time ago.
I was 6 years old when I first walked through the gates of Gardaland. Since that day, parks have always been part of my vacations—so much so that in 2007, for our honeymoon, we spent 20 days in Florida, including a week in Orlando, the theme park capital of the world.
Even after Federico was born, we continued to visit theme parks across Europe and beyond. But everything changed after an accident.
The accident that changed everything
On August 25, 2012, a serious motorcycle accident left me bedridden for 200 days. The only way to mentally escape that hospital room was by watching early American theme park vloggers on YouTube.
It was in that hospital room, during one of those endless days watching videos, that I promised myself: if I could walk again, I would share my passion online.
So, in January 2017, during one of my family trips to Orlando, I turned the camera around and started sharing my days in the parks.
The first videos and the first meetup
p>The first videos were met with great appreciation, so I decided to start a blog where I could put my theme park tips in writing.
The support from those watching my videos and reading my posts kept growing, and I eventually organized my first meetup at Movieland in the summer of 2019.
That day, I fell in love with the atmosphere created between strangers united by a shared passion.
A dream come true
Once back home, I decided to give more people the opportunity to experience the places I showcased in my videos—and more importantly, to feel that special connection that arises when you’re surrounded by fellow enthusiasts.
Since then, more than 600 people have joined my meetups and group trips—people I don’t call clients or followers, but friends, friends with whom I’ve shared emotions I’ll never forget.
