In the mid and late 1990s, amusement parks rapidly spread across Europe.
At the same time, the American market seemed to be reaching saturation, prompting several companies to seek expansion into other continents—such was the case with Six Flags, which was then affiliated with Time Warner.
As a result, Parque Warner Madrid opened on April 6, 2002, with a total cost of €368,000,000. The park’s themed environments transport guests into the world of DC Comics superheroes and Warner Bros. cartoons.
In 2006, management of the park transitioned from Six Flags to Parques Reunidos—management, not ownership—the same company that also owns Mirabilandia.
This is why the park’s two stunt shows are produced by the same company that has been performing Scuola di Polizia at Mirabilandia for years, later renamed Grosso Guaio a Stunt City.

#7 Shadows of Arkham
If you head to Gotham City, in the superhero district of Parque Warner, you’ll come across the superb Shadows of Arkham. This roller coaster is reserved exclusively for the bravest visitors.
The attraction is based on our favorite masked vigilante and is set on the outskirts of the incredible gothic city, at Arkham Asylum, a notorious prison that houses some of the most dangerous criminals.
#6 La Venganza del Enigma
Unmissable are the three towers of La Venganza del Enigma. Standing at 115 meters, they are the tallest free-fall towers in Europe, and over the years, they have also become a symbol of Parque Warner Madrid. 
#5 Rio Bravo
Rio Bravo is a classic western directed by the great Howard Hawks in 1959, starring John Wayne in the lead role. It is also one of the must-ride water attractions in the Old West Territory at Parque Warner. 
#4 Hotel Embrujado
The Hotel Embrujado is a highly immersive mad house featuring an engaging pre-show and notable special effects. 
#3 Rápidos ACME
Rápidos ACME is a classic rapids ride, but with a unique and unexpected theme.

#1 Batman Gotham City Escape
This roller coaster is one of the most remarkable at Parque Warner, because unlike most attractions, which have their own designated space, Batman Gotham City Escape is located right in the heart of the park.
As visitors stroll through the park’s streets, the coaster’s tracks will pass right above them!
