Gardaland Magic Hotel: Review of the Enchanted Forest Room

The “Enchanted Forest” room is one of the three available at the Gardaland Magic Hotel, the latest hotel to open within the Gardaland Resort, which includes:

  • Gardaland Park
  • Legoland Water Park
  • SEA LIFE Aquarium
  • Gardaland Hotel
  • Gardaland Adventure Hotel
  • Gardaland Magic Hotel

Themed Rooms at Gardaland Resort

There are a total of seven themed rooms across the three hotels:

  • Jumanji The Adventure
  • Peppa Pig
  • Princess Kingdom
  • Arctic Adventure
  • Magic Crystal
  • 44 Cats
  • Enchanted Forest

The Gardaland Magic Hotel is heavily themed—its entrance will leave children speechless, featuring talking mirrors, animated paintings, and many other magical elements that are strongly represented and well-executed.

Unfortunately, the rest of the structure, aside from its theme, doesn’t feel as engaging as the entrance area.

What Does the Enchanted Forest Themed Room Offer?

I stayed in the “Enchanted Forest” room last autumn during the first Fear Friday of the 2022 season, and I have to say I was surprised. But before sharing my impressions, here’s what the room offers:

  • two single beds
  • one double bed
  • very large shower bathroom
  • WI-FI access
  • satellite TV
  • kettle with tea and coffee supplies
  • independent heating and air conditioning
  • mini fridge with a welcome bottle
  • safe
  • a riddle with a surprise at the end
  • welcome sweets

In addition to the features listed above, the room offers an immersive atmosphere with both flat and 3D decorative elements—like the large tree hanging over the double bed, although its expression is a bit creepy.

The rest of the walls are covered in well-themed PVC wallpaper, but the contrast with the other decorative elements makes it feel a bit cheap despite being visually nice.

The little puzzle to unlock the treasure chest is a fun touch—kids will surely love the hidden prize inside.

How Much Does the Enchanted Forest Room Cost?

A lot!

For three people, on a Friday night in mid-October without breakfast, we paid €300 total!

Is It Worth Sleeping in the Enchanted Forest Room?

This is a tough one to answer. The magic is definitely there—if you’re staying with young kids, they’ll be thrilled. But keep in mind that breakfast and park tickets are not included in the price.

Make sure to do your math carefully.

Are There Alternatives to the Gardaland Hotels?

Lake Garda is one of Italy’s most tourist-friendly destinations with a wide variety of accommodations.
