Starting February 22, Leolandia reopens with a brand-new Carnival makeover, transforming into a kaleidoscope of colors, joy, shows, and surprises! Guests of all ages can enjoy rides, masks, and playful pranks under a cascade of confetti and streamers.

As one of the first theme parks in Italy to kick off the 2025 season, Leolandia welcomes a special guest for its grand reopening: the Academy Parade Band! This marching band will perform three musical parades, adding even more energy to an already exciting entertainment lineup.

This year, Leolandia’s Carnival extends to the rides with “Masked Challenge”, a thrilling game that brings the park’s most iconic attractions to life with Carnival characters. Guests can embark on a mask hunt, solving riddles and puzzles along the way! Some example? Adventurous privateers preparing to assault the Galleon hidden in the barrels of the Shore of the Pirates, while ladies and knights dance elegantly around the Giostra Cavalli; and still, indomitable cowboys who compete in a duel in the shade of the Wheel of the Pioneers, While crazy chefs juggle delicious recipes at the entrance of the Minitalia Coffee.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and enjoy rides, shows, and baby dance parties! To complete the look, the Face Painting station will offer stunning designs, perfect for taking part in the Character Parade, the highlight of the day! This parade features beloved cartoon friends like Masha and the Bear, Bing and Flop, Bluey and Bingo, the PJ Masks, and Thomas the Tank Engine, always ready to welcome little ones aboard!

Leolandia’s president, Giuseppe Ira, shares: “Along with Christmas, Carnival is one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations, especially for schoolchildren who get a few days off. In 2025, we’ve once again chosen to open early in February, going against the trend of most theme parks. This allows children to run, laugh, dress up, and fully embrace the festive spirit in a safe and joyful environment. Our early season launch doesn’t just bring happiness to kids but also supports seasonal workers, offering them a longer employment period than usual.”

Leolandia’s Carnival celebration will take place on weekends and during Carnival holidays, including the Ambrosian Carnival, until mid-March—after which even more surprises await!
