CARIBE BAY Jesolo – The Most Themed Water Park in Italy

Let’s start with some impressive numbers about this park:

  • 80,000 m² of surface area (equivalent to 11 football fields)
  • Over 2,000 palm trees
  • 27 attractions
  • 13-time winner of the ParksMania Award for Best Park in Italy
  • 5 live shows
  • The highest bungee jumping platform in Europe
  • Captain Spacemaker, at 42 meters tall, is Europe’s tallest slide

But don’t be fooled by those last two points — Caribe Bay is all about relaxation.

Its vast white-sand beaches — two of which even feature sand inside the pools! — along with a wide array of amenities, create the perfect blend of fun and relaxation.

What really struck me was the theming and attention to detail, which made me feel, just for a moment, like I was back in Orlando at Typhoon Lagoon, which I reviewed on my most recent trip to Florida.

The entrance looks like a scaled-down replica of Magic Kingdom’s entrance, in full Liberty style (I think 😅), but it was the main street that truly left me speechless.

Hemingway Main Street is pure Key West style — having been there myself, I can guarantee the colors and architecture are identical. Here you’ll find the changing rooms (also themed), locker rentals, the park’s shop, and most of the food options.

I really appreciated that the menu offered something different from the usual — no more burgers and fries, thank goodness! For lunch, we had an excellent mixed fried seafood platter at Maru San, located right on the Hemingway-themed Main Street.

Starting this year, the park has launched several initiatives to reduce and offset its environmental impact with the goal of becoming a Carbon Neutrality facility. For more info, visit the dedicated page.

Park Areas

The park is divided into three main zones:

  • Pirates’ Bay
  • Laguna de Oro
  • Shark Bay

Pirates’ Bay

A large area for younger guests, featuring white sandy beaches, plenty of palm trees, umbrellas, and lounge chairs.
There are several slides you can enjoy with your less adventurous children, a dedicated nursery, and even two driving experiences — one on land and one on water.

Laguna de Oro

The official site describes it as: “The largest water basin of Caribe Bay will transport you to the Caribbean, where the Spanish Navy guarded outposts defending the colonies.”
And I have to say — it’s true! The pool is huge, and the theming looks like a colonial outpost, complete with watchtowers, surrounded by white sand, palm trees, and sun loungers.

On the opposite side of the pool, you’ll find the Chiringuito — the perfect spot to satisfy your hunger and thirst.

Laguna de Oro

Shark Bay

Don’t think Shark Bay is your “typical” wave pool — here, you’ll even find white sand *inside* the pool. It truly feels like the Caribbean.
The wave ceremony is also a great touch — a siren and an announcement will let you know when the waves are about to start. Drop everything and head over so you don’t miss it!

The Slides

To the right of Shark Bay is where you’ll find the entire slide zone — and what slides they are!
First, know that most of the slides must be ridden in pairs using rafts. If you’re on your own, you won’t be able to ride many of them.
CAPTAIN SPACEMAKER is the crown jewel of Caribe Bay — standing at a towering 42 meters, it’s the tallest slide in Europe! Unlike last year, I finally got to ride it — and let me tell you, it was a pure adrenaline rush!

JUNGLE JUMP is one of the few body slides in the park, and it’s absolutely insane! After a wild drop, you get launched several meters into the air — so much so that, for safety, you’ll be equipped with a motorcycle-style back protector and a neck brace. That’s right — this slide is for real thrill-seekers.

SCARY FALLS was a real surprise! I won’t spoil it, but it definitely has its own charm. It’s a bit shorter than CAPTAIN SPACEMAKER, but since it’s an indoor slide, it delivers an unexpected twist you’ll love.

These are the 3 wildest slides in the park, but others worth mentioning include:

  • TORTUGA SKY
  • CRAZY RIVER
  • TOBOGANES
  • APOCALYPSE

ROATAN might look like your typical lazy river, but thanks to its impressive length, sound effects, detailed theming, and indoor sections — it’s truly spectacular!

Privé Cabanas – NEW for 2022

This year, Caribe Bay expanded its offerings by launching the Privé Cabanas, where relaxation and comfort reach their peak.
Each Cabana, priced at €400, accommodates up to 4 people and includes:

  • King-size loungers and comfy seating
  • Mini fridge

  • Jacuzzi pool reserved for the Cabana area

You’ll also receive:

  • Priority entry

How much does Caribe Bay cost?

Final Thoughts

Caribe Bay truly left me speechless — the attention to detail, services, and theming are all designed to fully immerse you in a tropical paradise atmosphere.
Unmissable!
